Replace Asphalt...Really? New Idea: Solar Roads

I just want to share a video I came across on Youtube today. What do you think about turning our roads into a power grid? This idea would create jobs and no doubt improve the roads we are driving on.

This idea seems great. I would like to know how the installation and maintenace of the solar road would happen. I'm in Colorado where the soil shifts quite a bit and roads need to be crack sealed and repaired constantly. How would the solar road sustain the ground shifts? Thanks.
