I have been a Public Works inspector for 25 years and have worked with countless contractors and crews on just about every type of project imaginable. Finding a company who is easy to work with is not a regular occurrence. I found Alaniz capable, thoughtful of residents (always important to City upper-management), easy to communicate and caring about the quality of their work and final product.
Alaniz also was willing to bring forward options to the project to produce a better product than was originally planned. The cost to the proposal change was very reasonable and the proposal was on target.
I will say that the city did not choose their suggestion to my personal disappointment but did come back at a later date, at a greater cost, to do the same work - just going to show that Alaniz did have our City's needs as a priority.
